Mike Dwyer taught Ethnic Studies and History for thirty-six treasured years in a San Francisco Bay Area public high school.  Recently retired, he has entered the world of fiction-writing and finds it an exciting one.  He thanks the Thieving Magpie for this honor and opportunity.
