Richard Risemberg was born to a mixed (and mixed-up) Jewish-Catholic marriage in Argentina, and brought to LA as a child when his family tired of living under a fascist regime. He became an obsessive reader at the age of four, and fell into writing much later, thanks to the fortuitous influence of a substitute English teacher in high school.
He has published widely in literary journals, with fifty-four stories accepted in the last three years. A complete list of his published short fiction is available at: http://crowtreebooks.com/richard-risemberg-publications/.
