A native Texan and longtime Houstonian, Walter Heineman has been writing poetry since his teens. His interests are varied and he enjoys pastimes such as chess and guitar and of course, writing poetry. Themes in his poetry include history, art, literature, music, dreams, myths, fairytales, ritual, symbolism, depth psychology, science, architecture, electronics, geology, perception and consciousness. Walter’s career afforded him extensive travel, both national and international, which allowed him to visit many of the world’s great museums.
