Joe Lugara began creating digital paintings in the 2010s; they debuted in 2018 in a solo exhibition at the Noyes Museum of Art in his home state of New Jersey. Mr. Lugara’s works have appeared in more than 40 exhibitions at museums and galleries in and around New York City, including the New Jersey State Museum and 80 Washington Square East Galleries at New York University, and in the publications Ligeia, The Oddville Press, The Shore Poetry and Right Hand Pointing.
