Martin Shapiro retired as the Humanities Librarian at American University in December 2021.  His poems have appeared in Pilgrimage, the Cold Mountain Review, the Delmarva Review (Pushcart-nominated), the Potomac Review, District Lit, After Happy Hour, Newtown Literary, and WWPH Writes.
