Ranjan was born and raised in Calcutta. After reading Economics in and completing an MBA from Delhi University, Ranjan spent over three decades with major international banks in various senior roles across multiple countries and a range of functions. He has stepped back now to pursue a newfound passion in Angel Investing and to return to his first love – writing.
His best friend Manisha consented to marry him many years ago. They currently reside in Delhi, perilously close to many relatives. Together they have a son, who has escaped to college.
