Taylor Hagood is a writer, speaker, and educator. His publications include several books of literary criticism, the biography/true crime, Stringbean: The Life and Murder of a Country Music Legend, and poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and reviews in such journals as American Literature, Appalachian Heritage, Bluegrass Unlimited, California Quarterly, FRiGG, Iodine Poetry Journal, and The Rumpus. Hagood teaches at Florida Atlantic University and is writing a biography of the midcentury writer, Theodore Pratt.
